DLMGA entered a meaningful partnership with Idea Studio Nepal to launch the eighth season of Idea Studio, under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Building Futures.” This collaboration was rooted in a shared vision to foster genuine inclusivity within Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Together, it aimed to create a dedicated platform where Dalits and individuals from other marginalized communities, including the LGBTQI+ community and Persons with Disabilities could confidently ideate, innovate, and access the opportunities necessary to transform their visions into reality.
More than 200+ groundbreaking ideas were received. Significantly, 50 of these entries came explicitly from marginalized groups, while 30% of all innovations were led by women. This diverse pool of talent embarked on a rigorous journey, beginning with the screening of ideas and live auditions for 100 shortlisted participants. From this group, 45 of the most promising innovators were selected to enter the national incubation program.
A final audition was filmed and is currently being broadcast on social media to showcase their journeys, amplifying the voices of these new entrepreneurs and demonstrating the powerful results of inclusive support.
