Get ready for Justice Summit
On May 9, National Law Day, Dalit Lives Matter Global Alliance (DLMGA) in collaboration with Global Legal Defense Fund invites you to be a part of the Justice Summit.
This summit brings together government representatives, legal practitioners, law enforcement agencies, human rights defenders, youth and civil society actors to discuss and address the systemic barriers Dalits and marginalized communities face in accessing justice. The summit will provide an opportunity for a broader stakeholder dialogue to deep dive into self-reflection, share experiences, consolidate knowledge and develop actionable strategies in synergy that amplifies resistance against caste-based injustices and inequalities.
At the Justice Summit, you can expect powerful panel discussions on the “Constitution, Federalism, and the Electoral System”, “Role of Lawyers in Ensuring Justice for Dalit and Marginalized Communities”, and “Dalit Women, Justice, and the Universal Periodic Review (UPR)”.
